Launched around 2011, this forum served as a key resource for over 15 years. It gained recognition in external communities, with users recommending it for Humax-related advice on sites like Digital Spy and AV Forums.

The platform focused on peer support for models like FVP-5000T, Fox T2, Freesat PVRs, and HDR Foxsat, covering topics such as firmware updates, playback errors (e.g., YouTube issues), on-demand services, and replacements. Active threads addressed real-world problems, like recording glitches during events or integrating apps, fostering a collaborative environment for owners.

Forum Closure

The site announced its closure in September 2025, planning a wind-down over five months to end operations in February 2026 after 15 years. It entered members-only mode by late 2025, requiring login for reading or posting, with user registrations halted in November and read-only access starting in January.​

​Until the end of its closure and beyond, it still had contact with Humax Towers and continues to beta test firmware for Humax PVRs – the latest beta testing was for the Freely PVR – Humax FHR 6000T.

This works out at about 575 posts a month with just under 50% of the members posting out of just under 20,000 members.
